What's at stake ?

Jeffrey Sachs’s free course on Coursera, The Age of Sustainable Development, provides an understanding of the key challenges and pathways to sustainable development - meeting human development goals while sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services on which the economy and society depend.

Humanity and our planet are threatened by mounting challenges as a result of climate change. While many global challenges such as poverty, hunger and environmental degradation have always existed, the climate crisis is rapidly escalating all global challenges beyond our current capabilities and capacities to address them.

A Stressed
Planet?

Failing to find more effective and efficient approaches to these challenges will severely undermine our sustainability, and potentially our existence. Collected below are documentaries and short educational videos which serve to better inform everyone about the great challenges we face, scientifically well proven. The world must act now to avoid a potential, catastrophe in our future.
